Oh boy, what good reading

That was beautiful. I'm going back to read it all again. If football were made up of the fit birds thread playing in their skivvies, it would be as good as that read.

"What, no Ribery then?" (snort)

did rawk exist before Rafael went there? i only ask because it strikes me it must be a front organization for him.

I would absolutely laugh my ass off if they went into administration.

I told you that once they missed out on Champions League football next season, they'd be out for good. They'll never catch the Big Three and they've been passed by Villa, City, & Spurs in the spending dept.

They're done.

...and I really can't think of any other club, after the absolutely incredible luck they've had, that deserves it.

Hang on, where were the cries of 'no' when the club was sold? What duty did the previous owner have to the club when it was time to cash in? What duty did the previous owner have to the club to ensure the people he was selling to were up to the standard expected?
A wave of positivity surrounded the sale, 'new ground', 'new players', 'global brand', 'greatest club in the world'. Where is all that now?

Laugh at them if you will, but at least a sizable section of the Man Utd supporters have kept fighting and kept the spotlight of condemnation on the Glazers. The furthest the kopites have got is some guy named after a curry spouting off twice a year. Divided and conquered. Deal with it.

tbf there are a section that have opposed them on the basis of what is now happening, but the dillusional majority just wouldn't have it, remarkeably FSW is still having his praises sang in that thread, it just has to be undercover blues doing that, if it is then they are good because I'd go about 2 posts without giving myself away.

Wow, are these kop-sh1te morons only waking up NOW?!?
Everyone else saw it coming a mile away!
They really are a bunch of ignorant self-involved neanderthals!

Sadly, I won't write them off yet. Because they didn't get in the C-League City may offer stupid money for Torres. I wouldn't be suprised to see them pay 100M for him.

The guts of which would have to go straight to the bank anyway, so they lose their best player and try and replace him with a 10 million version.

I wish it was that simple but pure evil won't be vanquished so easily. The player formerly known as Steven Gerrard might net another 15(Inter)-35M(City) as well. They could use 70-85M as a down payment on new financing and have around 30-50M on players. Throw in say Hodgson and that kind of money and they are competitive again.

On top of that they still have a whole country behind them. So unless someone associated with the club wipes their ass with a Norweigean flag they are still going to fill the stadium and sell lots of jerseys.

But seriously could you imagine the Norwegians if they sold Torres and brought in Nevland.

You also have to remember that Fulham did well only in the Europa and there highest finish under Hodgeson is 8th.

Its all about the league for them - everything else is expected rather then appreciated.

Anyone else enjoying the fact that they are gettting the Lescott treatment this summer:

Chelsea believe they are closing in on the £40m-plus signing of Fernando Torres.
Premier League champions Chelsea have already made the first steps in trying to sign the Liverpool striker this summer.
And the Chelsea hierarchy believe they can beat off opposition from Manchester City and from abroad to land the Spanish superstar.

City are also keen and willing to pay but cannot offer Champions League football

It would be the most sensational transfer in Premier League history, setting a new record for a deal between clubs.

But Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich is prepared to bankroll a huge assault on the transfer market this summer to make another attempt on the Champions League.

Abramovich believes Chelsea boss Carlo Ancelotti - who faces Portsmouth in today’s FA Cup final - is the man to take the club forward.

Michael Ballack and Joe Cole have yet to agree new deals and could go this summer but Abramovich wants an eye-catching signing.

Ancelotti this week admitted that he is a big admirer of Torres, just 24 hours after Didier Drogba also said the Spaniard was a player he would love to partner at Chelsea.

Chelsea remain cash rich despite their recent reluctance to spend big in the market and they believe they can also broker a good deal for Torres.

Torres missed the end of the season after undergoing knee surgery but is confident of being fit for the World Cup.
But with Liverpool’s ownership, managerial situation and long term prospects unclear, Chelsea believe they may be able to land

Torres in what would be seen as a cut-price deal for one of the best players in the world.

Torres, because of his injury record and Liverpool’s finances and need for cash, may go for a lot less than the record breaking £80m that Real Madrid paid Manchester United for Cristiano Ronaldo last summer.
