Consistency in what postion lid?

He's awful in centre midfield, i think yesterday proved that.

He's a decent player upfront mind and really should start watching Peter Crouch more as that is the kind of player he should aspire to be. Not brilliant i know but it will be more worthwhile then standing in the middle of the park like a clown and letting Neville do all the work.

Well against United, Middlesbrough to name, he was in that 2nd striker role and he looked a different player than in the centre. But other games he goes missing in either position. Get him used to one position and you'll see more consistency from him.

I think people are being very harsh to be honest, using the typical Brazilian stereotype that they only perform on home turf. Jo’s attitude and work rate has been exactly the same in every game, at home and away.

The main difference has been the performances, we’ve been poor away from home and the service has been shocking. If you don’t keep the ball and have no creative options then your strikers are going to struggle. Yakubu did at the start of the season and Saha and Jo have during spells aswell. You can only work with what you’ve got, at the moment most of the service is mostly head height which doesn’t suit Jo or Saha.
