Any artists in here? What's teh best paints (type) to use on canvas(es)?

depends on cost and what you want to paint. landscapes, portraits, other? poster paint is probably the most accessible. acrylic has a lot of options (specialist colours), and then oil is the most expensive and need experience with mixing your linseed and then application. brushes or knives? another even more accessible means to get the artistic juices flowing is water colours, canvas is expensive compared to some nice thick paper, and getting your eye in with delivery might be good before going at the big stuff straight off the bat?
