obstructed views in Lower Gwladys

I see the OS has started to class more seats as having obstructed views. As a non-season ticketholder who buys his ticket via the OS, I quite like the back few rows of the Lower Gwladys. Alot of them are obstructed. But many aren't. But having bought my ticket for Fulham only today I noticed that all the back 3 rows are now classed as obstructed. So I can now get my regular seat for £1 less than before.(y) This, and the seats around, are not obstructed though. Thing is, there's now going to be no-one around me since not one of the seats in the back 3 rows of the block I sit in have been sold whereas in the past at least the seats at the back rows in the middle of the block would have been classed as clear view and would have been sold.

Have the club have had complaints about these seats and so have reclassified them as obstructed? Or is it an unpublicised goodwill gesture by the club?

you kidding pal? The upper gwladys means you can't see anything above crossbar height at the other end of the pitch...

It's very good common sense for the club to do that, well done to them. The third to last row didn't need changing to be honest, but that doesn't detract from what is over all the right move by the club.

Generally an obstructed view means there is a post covering at least part of one of the goals.

The view from the back of the Gwladys is like watching the match through a letter box and you have to guess were the ball is gonna land if it goes up in the air.I think they should be classed as obstructed views.

So, as I say, it's not obstructed, since the criteria for being an obstructed view is that you can't see all of the two goals. In any event, even on the back row of the Lower Gwladys you can see both goals totally and also some yards above the Park End goal. Agreed, if everyone's standing up you have to stoop a bit to see the Park End crossbar.

The criteria for obstructed is just one goal obtructed. The last row is a an awful view of the Parknd. They've done the right thing. As I mentioned before they probably didn't need to do it to the third to last row

On a related point, why didn't Everton open up the upper Bullens to home fans. As usual Fulham brought only 200 or so.
