No I'm not saying that they should play DM, however with no Neville in midfield, Fellaini would slot right back in with Gibson, continueing to build on their midfield partnership. This would give us three obvious options:

- Pienaar moved into AMC with Gueye on the left
- Ossie moved into AMC with Barkley on the right
- Barkley put in the AMC position

All options that I would prefer to Neville being in midfield.

I'm not disagreeing with you on this post on the whole but Gueye has already shown himself up to be a one dimensional bottler against Liverpool. Why would he be any good against Manchester United at Old Trafford? He's quite an average player to be honest.

Barkley is going to be special but it isn't the time to go throwing him in at OT. As much as I want to see him, I thought Moyes got his team selection quite spot on.

Thought Gueye played well in the two Sunderland games.

Complete baloney. Neville played centre-mid in the absence of Baines. Hibbert went RB, Sylvain LB.
United came out firing after the break - did you expect something else?
You undervalued Ossie & overvalued Faddy.

Other than that you may be hit a few nails on the head - maybe.

He was decent. That however is at the Stadium Of Light and at home rather then Old Trafford. He was piss poor when it mattered most last weekend, he shouldn't play again this season.

That IMO would be crazy. Just because a young player has one bad game he should not be given the boot. It's what Moyes did with Barkley. How come MOyes never does that to any of the senior players?

- Moyes went for the defensive draw, Neville in midfield justifies that. The team however somehow ignored the usual "we will contain them and hit them on the break" bull**** that is Moyes' tactical plan.

You actually think Moyes told them to play defensively but the players decided amongst themselves to ignore this? Just because Neville was in midfield doesn't automatically mean we were playing a defensive game. If it was Neville and Heitinga I would agree, but he was there to protect the back 4 and allow our other midfielders a little more freedom when we got the chance to go forward.

Also a shout out to Gibson today who was quietly very effective at keeping things ticking over in midfield.

And you were criticizing others for being narrow-minded fans?

I NEVER want Neville in midfield, but I was impressed today. Good ball for the equaliser into Fellaini, won tackles and kept it simple all game. He looked calm on the ball as did Gibson, and we played good football - albeit one paced - and created a lot of chances.

Neville was at fault for their first two goals and was clueless in midfield. Sometimes Jags was higher up the pitch than him because he looked scared of the ball.

If he plays in midfield it's his fault. If he plays in defence it's his fault.

You're wrong. Both of those goals were Jelly's fault.

My god thats the worse post iv ever seen on here!

Cahill not playing is the biggest factor to are better play. Combined with pienaar being in the team.

I also think barkley is about ready but would not of thrown him in yesterday at OT.

Guaye is a young squad player. Hes not good enough at the moment.

Moyes got everything spot on yesterday. Not saying i want nev in cm next week or fellani up top but yesterday it was right ans worked well.

The only given for me is cahill shouldnt start in acm again. We have alot better options.

We never agree on anything, so ... :)

So was the rest of our team. Should we not play them either?
