It's parent company Live Nation, which owns most of the music venues too, is currently being sued by the US government for precisely that reason. Will probably drag on for years though.

Apparently ticketmaster crashed in Ireland, it continues to baffle me as to how ticket master consistently can't deal with entirely predictable traffic. A shambles of a site.. bring back the days when people used to form queues at a store for a physical ticket.

Got two for Wembley through Gigs and Tours. Had been sat since about 7ish with various different tabs open on 7 different devices and eventually the very first tab I opened on the first device I set up (which wasn't for Ticketmaster) let me on at about 11am. Maybe the queueing system isn't as random as it looks?

Only person i know from here that got tickets was my brother who lives in the USA and he was sleeping while i was already in the queue. Still showing 73,000 people ahead of me.

Thankfully i got one in the pre sale yesterday or today would have been disappointing.

how hard was it to get tickets to the Wembley or Liverpool gigs for the Dig Out Your Soul tour in 2008, which I suppose was their commerical and critical nadir?
