Im surprised we are not all over this guy

He may not be everyone's first choice but I think he is fantastic, the job he done at Wolves & Valencia developing specifically defenders was great

Gets players working as a team in a 343 or 352

3 at the back suits us and our players, 3 in midfield and 2 just staying uptop

We would get nice counter attacking football in moments but for now we need someone to organise a defence and the fact he is available would be perfect

Dont think he got treated fairly at Spurs so will have a point to prove & with Mendes as his agent we will have access to players we may not have got before (they are best friends)

Afew years back he was the next best thing, because our and his expectations are so low I think we could be a perfect partnership for the next few years

No. Aside from the football being make your eyes bleed bad, his teams don't press. You can't play the modern game without an effective press - one of the reasons we've been struggling this year (and that is because we aren't good at it; Nuno actively avoids a press.).

If we're not good at pressing why get a pressing style manager? If anything what you're saying makes a case for Nuno. The fact he brings a massive backroom team with him would help us atm too considering we effectively no long have one

Like @BrendanGOT said it wouldn't be wise to get a guy mid season to try and get us pressing

He may not use a pressing style but what he does do is run double training sessions so our players would be fitter than under Rafael

Gosh. This is even worse option than Vitor. What's with our fans?

Eh? Not being any good at pressing isn't down to skillsets of the players (like pace, passing ability etc). It's down to tactics, fitness and desire.

We need to be pressing and we need a manager to realise that, work on fitness and weed out those that don't have the desire to do it

Getting a manager who just sits back is antediluvian. And pressing is more than just chasing down and running a lot (that's what Ferguson did on Saturday). It is done as a team, working on triggers, cutting off passing lanes and boxing the opposition in.

Look at how bad Spurs were under Nuno. Look at their stats. You can't play that way in the current PL.
