It really is very strange since he's been absolutely diabolical. Has his mum died recently or something and Moyes is simply trying to lift his spirits? Otherwise it makes no sense; that's at least twice now that he's been called out as having such importance to the team. Impotence perhaps, but certainly not importance.

He's awful. We'll only ever be a team just above the relegation zone if he is our CAM. Cannot control a football, Cannot pass forward, Cannot dribble, hardly scores. It's shocking that he even gets games for us, never mind plays all the time.
