I didn't read it all. Sorry not copying.

I haven't posted here for a while because it just becomes a sounding board for grievances with the club. But I'm not going to complain about a team who have won 7 out of the last 9 games. True Evertonians don't. ;)

every board you go to is the same ghost. its were people have their say good or bad.......its just easier to have a pop. when things are going well people dont say to much, but when its going bad people will slate the team......me included. well at the moment i love them so the silence is deafening.

thank you thats what i've been trying to say. no reason to fret about a win. ever.

kiss my arse you condescending something.

:) well stop moaning then. We won the game, god the times I saw Man U win ugly, and Chelsea win ugly.

Just give the side some credit for keeping a second clean sheet.

Being over critical isn't helping anyone.

Suites what game was you watching? and how much did you drink last night? yes it was'nt sunderland again but they come along every 10 years. we'v just finished top of a very hard group. would you rather a "we played really well over the four games but just missed out".

You have to remember were on a learning curve in europe. and doing well i think. remember villareal and the other game i wont even mention. three games played three won, six goals for one against........whats the problem?

we played the russian champions, and for the first 20 min totaly out played them, we played to our strenths. quick pressure football. what ruined the game was the man being sent off. changed their tactics. they played two banks or four and tried to break. the reason their was no space in the last quarter. thought we kept at it really well, when we could have panic't and started hitting long balls.

dont know about you boys but im more than happy with the lads and the effert over the group stages. i know last night was'nt the best game to watch, but it was entertaining. suites do you think you were just frustrated with the way thing went last night? know i was till we scored.

anyway here's to the last 32 an the boys running round the city of manchester with the cup. :D

merde.

was beer available at nurnberg in the stadium for the game?

didnt have a drop last night, winslow was chocker so decided to grab a swift chang instead, only uefa rules in britain/england mean alcohol cant be served. so i was on the hard stuff - full sugar fanta.

very hard group? - metalist have been the toughest test so far.

no i dont want the just missed out - i want the mistakes, complacency, lackadaisical attitude, and all round laziness ironed out before we face a good side and then ''miss out''

yes i remember villareal and the dinamo game, but guess what - that was then - this is now, it has no effect or impact. the problem is last night was not good, yes some good play first half for a short spell then it was foot off the gas, going through the motions as if the result was never in doubt.

the reason there was no space because they had two banks of four? are you for real? we had two banks of four and it didnt stop them finding space, running into it, playing the ball with success to feet.

its great we are through, and with a game spare, lets see how AZ fight as position in the group is at stake, and we are away. - there are away games to face against a higher class opposition to come - complacency and fear will see a rerun of dinamo away.

Well you do seem to be the only one having a moan all the time. We can't expect 7-1's each week. It was a tough game, they were a tough side.

But seriously, what is your profession?

no comment ad infinitum

and now we see another sly remark, although more subtle than the last - ''only one having a moan all the time''

i have to call it like i see it, im not prepared to cover up mediocrity and pretend everything is alright. i have done my best to stay away from the following but... i was there yesterday, i saw the game with my own eyes, i heard the crowd, i saw the mistakes, and i saw a very good russian side with ten men pass rings around us in places.

its not a ''moan'' its a constructive criticism, the moment their player went off it appeared some of our players switched off - passes went astray - people stopped running and providing options. It was as though they thought the game was won and could see it out at a canter.

it comes to something when it takes the centre back to power up the pitch in possession to force the issue because of the level of lethargy around him.

i've still yet to hear you commented on the times lescott was caught out of position after losing the ball up field. your posts make me think that i might have misread the score.

perhaps we need to analyse why lescott was up field in possession.

lescott was upfield in possession because thats the kind of role he plays, even at centre back. we were playing against a side with 10 men, its understandable that the boys were Lackadaisical on offense, and lescott pushes forward all the time, did you see him against the [Poor language removed]? should we question why marco materazzi plays up field in possession for Inter and Italy (best example i could think of off the top of my head)

when someone pushes forward, the rest of the team has to shift to cover, which is what they did, everything worked out and we got the win.
