We all know that this is a must win but how to achieve that is the question.

For me we need to go at them and for that it needs to be a 4-3-3 or 4-4-2, not his 5-2-2-1. Also I would like to see Patterson as LB not Coleman.

WE will find out soon enough what the team will be..

Picking 3 CBs is a ridiculous decision

"Norwich City
  • Norwich have lost six successive Premier League matches by an aggregate score of 16-0. Head coach Dean Smith was sacked by Aston Villa after a run of five successive league defeats.
  • The Canaries have gone 551 Premier League minutes without scoring since Teemu Pukki's goal in a 1-1 away draw at Newcastle United on 30 November.
  • Norwich have taken just five points from their last 45 available in Premier League home games.
  • They have scored eight goals in their 20 league fixtures this season, the joint-lowest tally at this stage of a top-flight campaign alongside Leicester City in 1977-78.
  • Dean Smith was unbeaten in all five Premier League matches as Aston Villa head coach versus Everton (W3, D2)."

We go into this with every confidence then...

That load of stats means sod all on the actual day.

You are also missing the stat where we have conceded the first goal in the last 923 games

Wish you hadn’t said that :(
I think we all expect Norwich to score today. It is one of the absolute truths, if a player hasn’t scored in a while and you are playing Everton we let you score. For me that isn’t an issue, the issue is can we score more than them. We should be able to do so provided we plan the right bodies in the right positions. Five at the back against Norwich is not the right bodies in the right place, we should be on the front foot against them, we have all our players back apart from Davies who wouldn’t start in a full strength team.
I would go 4-3-3, with Gomez starting in the midfield, in a game like this he is going to get a bit more time on the ball, I would play Richy, DCL and Gray across the front and attack them from the outset. I don’t think that will happen, but you can always hope.
