Sorry, I misunderstood.

He's not playing in the centre like a ten as some suggested. We're playing narrower, so yes he's coming inside more often when we have the ball.

When we're out of position, he's pushing out wider like we normally do with our 4-4-2: two different systems from in and out of play.
