No it's a serious question Phil - We always seem to be light in the middle

If we're talking seriously, I think the number of players we have in midfield isn't the real issue rather than quality and how they impose themselves on a game.

How often is it the same ol' message: one-dimensional (side to side); tepid and restrained movement; far too cautious in play; often bypassed by teams.

I can't see us physically dominating a game because they're currently off the pace and lack that bite or when on the ball it's not quick or aggressive enough.

Personally, Davies isn't good enough on a consistent basis and Gomes look off the pace. We need someone who can really break up play and provide momentum.
