I think this gesture lots it’s meaning by being overdone over the last couple of years. The world is a far better place for equality than it was when I was born but I’m not sure this helps progress things any further.

I think the interviews where BAME stars have talked about their struggles and abuse suffered particularly online have been really eye opening, so I’m all for more of this but the knee is done now.I’m with Sir Les Ferdinand on this one ??

It has lost impact. Primary School kids are not racist so maybe we should identify why older people can be and then put them on an island until they die.

I'm 52 now, grew up in the heart of Toxteth which is as multicultural as it gets, seen racism in many many forms throughout my life and unfortunately still do, daily.
Things have changed slightly for the better but it hasn't gone away, it's still there deep rooted in society. I really hope I see a world where racism is a thing from the history books but unfortunately I doubt I ever will. Sadly I doubt my children and grandchildren will either unfortunately.
