Its to help with forthcoming building, I believe.

Spitting aside, hes a nice fella, met him a few times at the game. Been v good for Marine local community and in the area.

But believe the forthcoming stadium is slowly getting traction.

I assume it's to raise the profile and increase revenue/funding rather than the actual building. I wouldn't trust him to build a sandcastle!!

I hope hes not building it

But yeah, building profile, getting to a critical moment of the move and I imagine itll be a long the lines of "honourary", but at this level the exposure is huge.

I’ve just been thinking of @MikeH72 , some long distance aways in the NWCL South !. Potential for 8 new grounds for me with Cables, depending on Everton fixtures and is there a railway station ?.

North West Counties Div 1 South for us, which might as well be called the midlands league! Most local team is Barnton, 25 minute drive away

I suspect we may appeal based on playing most of the season at Marine, I would’ve thought we’d have grounds for it.

Hmm, I play at the MTA on Thursdays and we were asked if we could change the day we play. Guessing that is why.

Yeh an unknown. I don’t even know if we’ll be classed as a big side in that league these days.

Giving up my EFC ST at the end of this season last game v Sunderland. Can’t manage / deal with the three hour round trip and too many midweek games. I’ll probably regret it but footy fix at Holker St next season.

K’s are getting a great player @Alan Whittle. Really enjoyed watching him play for us last season. Not quick, and not massively interested in defence, but that’s not what he’s there for. Really entertaining and skilful - played in the right place, he’ll give you goals and assists in spades. Enjoy!

Saw that. K's have made some good summer signings so far but wasn't expecting this.
