Isn't there still a limit of a maximum of three non eu players playing at any one time? Or am I wrong? I thought a club go in bother for it last season.
If there is who counts as non eu. Anichebe I would assume doesn't but what about Yakubu, Yobo, and Howard have they been in this country long enough? Then there is Pienaar, Castillo and possibly obinna.

I've just realised that Howard, Yakubu, Yobo, and Pienaar must have played in the same match at some time so if there is a rule there one of them must be assimilated unless nobody has actually realised.

Forgot about Cahill as well?

i dont think this rule has been in play for about 8-10 years, there was talk of bringing it back though

I know they abolished the rule for eu players (cos it used to be any foreign player) years ago but I have a feeling that there is still a rule regarding non-eu but you might be right. The British rule was abolished cos european law said that it had to be free trade in europe but that is not the case for non-eu that's why I thought it might still exist?
