I've been over to rawk to see what their saying about our search for a manager and opened a thread about Moutinho and
Rodrigues going to Monaco. These two comments tickled me.
'I wish these ....ing billionaires would just ....off. They're ....ing ruining football these lot".
And, 'Let's face it, there are some clubs where winnings things brings in new fans'. I think he's talking about glory hunters.
They do have a thread about our new manager, and while there's a bit of sanity most of it is bitter and sarcastic.
They're hoping for our least favoured candidates, mock the idea that we might go for someone high profile, and just hope that whoever gets the job takes us down. So, nothing really surprising, then.
