No Go For Smith

Think we need to turn the money hose on some players we need BADLY. Its far too late to be skimping and saving, trying to find a bargin.

If we've got 14mill to be bounced back from Moutinho then chuck all we got at him to get the bugger. If not, hose another player down with the cash (Cana, Milito, Topal).....
 
That 2-3 million could go towards Moutinho, good news in my opinion. I'd take him but if where getting Vagner Love, Moutinho and Mbia we could spend the money on a different player, maybe a winger.

Defo.

I like Smith and he would be a great signing for 2-3 million but it could be easily used elsewhere.

I'd much prefer Milito to him upfront aswell and i'm also thinking that Moyes is going to buy Smith to play him in midfield imo, i'd actually rather have Neville because at least we are used to one useless midfielder, we don't need 2.

Neville is probably better than Smith in midfield to be honest, Neville not very good in there himself but unlike Smith he's reliable, holds his position and isn't a liability. Smith has a tendency to hack people down and always is nearly sent off.

I'd rather us buy a proper versatile player, someone who can actually play in two positions successfully. Smith is a decent forward but I disagree with anyone who says he can play in midfield, he can't.
 
I agree with the fellas who say the money should be put towards moutinho. Now is the time to get him and make tie him down as a blue. Lets not miss out on this player he is talent. What would we do with Smith anyway. Besides another squad player I think his best days are beyond him. COYB

Your used to Neville being [Poor language removed] in midfield aswell, so you just get used to it really.

If Moyes is buying Smith to play in midfield, it would be a utter disgrace.

But i actually think he's going to loan Anichebe out to Preston.
