Davies has been playing defensive midfielder looks ruined in that position imo!

The last couple of games Davies has been played forward, either on one of the wings or in behind the striker. At this point, until his form improves, he should only be on the field as a defensive mid, though one could argue Benny is doing a better job in that spot as the #3 option.

Vlasic seems to be regarded as some kind of prodigy.
I think he may be a fine player in the future but at present there are defensive flaws in his game and I think that he is learning his responsibilities as a Premiership player.
He is very young and only recently arrived in the country. Let him settle and learn when he is ready he will be played. I think in time he may be the no. 10 we wanted.

Hopefully you're right. If he can cope with the premier league he looks like he'll be perfect for the same role Rooney is playing in midfield. Potentially even better than Rooney is currently showing in there.

We've got to be a bit sensible I think. Feasibly we could field a team containing Pickford, Kenny, Holgate, Bangingme, Davies, Lookman, Vlasic and DCL. Whilst they're all talented, they're also very raw. There was a thread recently looking at the age composition of the squad, and we've got a bunch of youngsters, a sprinkling of over 30s and not many in the 'prime' years. Having 8 rookies in the lineup would be too much, and it wouldn't surprise me if some of the young lads are sidelined just to try and get some experience into the squad as much as anything. I mean I'm not sure Lennon is really any better than Lookman.

I've liked the look of Vlasic in the games he's played this season though so I'm sure he'll be a decent addition in time.

Vlasic clearly offers too much attacking threat to even be considered for selection by Allardyce. Why look to score goals when you can attempt to grab an undeserved 0:0? Actually happy that Allardyce's disgusting selection and tactics have finally given him what he has deserved in every game he's been in charge of us - a humiliating defeat.
