I think he is at the same level as DCL, lookman. So not a bad signing for the future but at this point in the window he may be a distraction for the Everton signing team who should be 100 % focused on bring in a proven, experienced striker.

If he is loaned out straight away, I don't see this being a distraction.

1. He is midfielder
2. If we (Hajduk) play 4-3-3 he is on left side, because he use both foot
3. low centre of gravity, very hard to stop, very hard to take ball
4. resistant to injury
5. physical ability is exceptional, he is ready for Premiership

extra tip: if you sign him, sign his father and put him in your youth academy. After six month of his drill they will run all day without break.

Seriously, do you think they aren't? They've probably been scouting this kid for awhile and negotiating. We do have more than a couple people in our signing department.

But there's only one contract Dave .

He needs more work , hopefully sitting next to a strapping big bloke .

I remember this kid , I don't remember him being particularly frightening but he always wanted the ball .

Everton's reported move for teenager Nikola Vlasic has not been ruled out by his Hajduk Split president.

Midfielder Vlasic, 19, has been a regular first-team player for the Croatian side since making his first-team debut at the age of 16, and reportedly attracted Everton's attention in the recent Europa League play-off tie between the sides.

When asked about a possible Everton bid, Hajduk president Ivan Kos told Split newspaper Slobodna Dalmacija: "The transfer window runs until August 31, sometimes transfers happen a minute before midnight. We don't want to lose one per cent of our quality.

"We also have to think about financial stability."

Everton are to bid around £10m for the youngster, according to national newspaper reports, and such money could tempt a club who missed out on a Europa League place with their defeat to the Toffees.

Kos said: "I don't like to talk about things I cannot say with certainty. We'll keep track of how things are going."

Or ,as others have already suggested, he could replace Miralles in the squad ,which would seem more likely at the moment.
Not so sure he isn't better than Mirallas already. Beyond on that, he isn't coming here to go out on loan. He'll maybe get some run in the U23s, but he can play with us IMO. He gave us some problems I thought. He's got talent.

How some of you can say you don't remember him when he was one of the focal points for their attack and we played bloody 180 minutes of football against him is mind boggling. He's pretty darn good - skilled, fast, strong, talented.

Fair point... I pretty much don't remember any of the opposition though, unless they score. Too busy watching ours.
