He has that turn of acceleration that Barkley has/had. He just doesn't sustain it over a long distance. That was an issue last year because he'd be up the pitch on his own with no quick players in support.

That's how I would describe it as well. Fast acceleration but not sustainable.

He's not getting in our team right now, regardless of his success in Russia. Or we loan out McDowell.

It's a good thing he's playing well, though.
