Anyone watching on the bbc multiscreen? yanks have had a player sent off inside 4 minutes, we need the nigerians not win to have victor potentially available at the weekend

both sides are [Poor language removed](n)

Vic won't be back for saturday.

Just been watching this game on BBC web. It was the most incredible last 10 minutes of a game that I have seen for ages. Anyone could have scored, and Anichebe, clean through twice (the second harder than the first to be fair) should have wrapped the game up.

Nigeria 2, USA 1, and we won't now have Vic back for Saturday.

For a neutral though, the finish was astounding.

I only caught the last 5-10 minutes. Good action. I thought that Charile Davies showed some good skills. Maybe I just caught him at the right time.

Never ever should have gotten to this point.

Had we finished out the Dutch like we should have, we'd have had 6 points in the bag and clean advancement through to the quarters. Not having Adu and Bradley available for the match due to yellow card accumulation certainly didn't help either.

As it stands, we didn't and we paid the price. We're out of the tournament altogether as we did this to ourselves. :@

i logged off to watch the game after posting this thread, and only just woke up now  it was a really poor game though until the 80th minute and then a whole seasons worth of entertainment came out in the last 10 minutes. i wanted USA to win so we could have vic back and then for them to hit the bar from that free kick after they'd scored, and then some fool nearly lobbed his own keeper for USA only to be denied by the X-bar. Victor showed pace and strength as per. Looked a little clumsy but had the USA back line in bits, a little more compsure he will become a decent partner for yak

Mixed feelings for me, then - we don't get Vic back, but Toronto FC get two starters back.

You think Everton are threadbare? Last weekend, Toronto FC were unable to put more than 4 subs on the bench (7 are allowed), including youth and developmental players.

And still won away from home.
