I'm too young to remember binman in his prime, so Nig' takes the cake as the best keeper to play for us during my tenure as an Evertonian.

He was so crucial in getting us 4th as well. What a keeper, and what a guy, too.

Totally agree.

Always liked Nigel, really good keeper and we used the same gloves! A real keepers keeper. Massively underrated like Steve Ogrizovic at Coventry, and possibly just as ugly!

Schmeicel is put forward as the best, but if SAF had managed to prise Nev from us then The Whisky Nosed dane would've been in the reserves.
