Salt Lake is the right city to take them as well, IMO. I expect a natural rivalry with the Avs to develop. Should be fun.

I'm not sure Salt Lake will work either. To be perfectly honest I don't think there are any good US markets left for hockey. I don't buy Houston, the demographics aren't there like they weren't there in Atlanta. Then you're looking at cities that support minor/junior hockey fairly well and that's like Cleveland, Milwaukee, and Portland. None of those sound too likely.

Quebec City would immediately be the smallest metropolitan area in the league. Not to mention a lot of people there are diehard Montreal Canadiens fans and will never go to another team's games. They would really struggle.

Sorry i was only taking NFL, NBA and NHL into account there.

I don't follow MLS i only know of a small handful of teams in it, and Real Salt Lake until just now were not one of them!

The Habs had a great rivalry with the Nordiques back in the day as well. I'd say there's a market for a team in Saskatchewan as well.
