I'm kind of in this camp. I barely even know any words to songs in English of bands I actually like, so the language was irrelevant to me. The show itself was artistic and a great spectacle - the message was universal.
As for the music itself, I'm certainly not the target here with my music tastes, and I listen to a lot of music. And general Pop and Salsa/reggaeton music generally isn't anything I listen to. It's effectively Latino pop. The music itself sounded exactly to me just like all songs in that genre. It was perfectly fine/OK. Nothing to write home about.
Which is perfectly fine. But yeah, there is some cringe from "lefties" talking about how it was the greatest thing ever. We don't have to slather praise all over it just b/c MAGA are loons. But enjoy it for what it was - an artistic achievement that meant more as a message and production than the music itself.
