NFL 2022 Season

Buffalo's run defence is the biggest weakness I've noticed this season. They've given up like 200 on the ground a couple of times recently and that loses playoff games in january in cold weather
Might be a personnel issue? A particular run-stuffer out injured? Minnesota certainly manhandled them at the point of attack yesterday - good, hard football.

Mahomes defense bailed him out friend
Would make more sense to compare Allen's awful final pass yesterday to Mahomes' dreadful "heave & hope" to Tyreek Hill last year against the Bengals. Lots of similarities in poor diagnosis of the coverage, and trying to win it all on one throw instead of building a drive by taking what the D was giving up for cheap.

All the same, Allen made a host of bad decisions yesterday and will need to become more composed if he's going to get to a Superbowl.

Vikings are a well-balanced team. Cousins is not a top-5 QB, but he doesn't NEED to be because the Minnesota roster includes a strong OL, a reliable run game and an aggressive, mobile D.

Buffalo on the other hand has weaknesses in the defensive secondary and on the O-line. Allen has all the talent a QB could want but seems to lack composure. Several moments yesterday saw him make very emotional decisions and he was obviously lacking composure.

The O-Line for the Vikes has improved ten fold under a new coaching regime, for years under Zimmer it was always ranked as one of the worst but even Bradbury is playing well when in previous years he was one of the worst centres.

Could see the Bills struggling from here on in. They had been anointed before the season even began and now they are seen as fallible.

Allen has now shown his true colours following yesterdays embarrassment. A brainless qb who will fire grenades at will even to detriment of his team.

Looking their schedule I could see them dropping games to Miami, New England (once, maybe twice) and even Cincy assuming Chase is back. 11-6 maybe 10-7 and a tough playoff road trip Baltimore to navigate as well

DJ Reader cleared to return to practice with Cincinnati. Will be a much-needed boost for the D with a must-win game against the Steelers up next.

As we saw at the weekend, teams that dominate the LOS tend to win, and Reader is a dominant defensive tackle. Steelers will look at Cleveland's game film, running the ball repeatedly to keep Cincinnati's O off the field, and will look to exploit any weakness in the Bengals' run D... Reader at 100% is no weakness and Cleveland definitely took advantage of his absence last week.

Linemen win championships.

I need the Bengal's to kick on for them to win the division and for my bet to win.

Can you cash out?

Pains me to say it but I think the AFC north title goes to Baltimore this year. We (Cincinnati) already lost three divisional games so I reckon Baltimore has the edge in every tiebreaker - and I don't see us drawing level with them to make tiebreakers matter in the first place.

Baltimore's next three games are hosting Carolina, at Jacksonville, and hosting Denver: they should win all three comfortably.
Cincinnati have Pittsburgh at Pittsburgh, Tennessee at Tennessee and then the Chiefs in Cincinnati.

Baltimore could conceivably have a three-game lead in the AFC North by the time week 14 is here... the two games we lost at the start of the season on botched FGs (because of an injury to the long snapper, FFS) will kill us.

They have a pretty good defence, so thought it might be close within 10 points. Never in a million years thought Philly would lose though. Gives other teams a bit of hope playing them later on in the season.
NFC East teams really hate each other. I never would have bet against the Eagles yesterday, but I'm not surprised Washington upped their game for a divisional rival.

Wouldn't have bet a penny on Green Bay beating the Cowboys either, or Arizona winning against the Rams - although the Rams are starting to look beat up. Too many changes on their OL from last season.

No cash out on it for some reason.
