That Geno Smith is leading the league in completion percentage and QB rating and is like Josh Allen level QBR through 5 games is possibly the most unlikely thing going.

It's like Iwobi but nearly a decade in the making.

Damn. needed some Mahomes magic to get the Chiefs out of that hole. Fortunate win.

Play like that against Buffalo next week and we get annihilated.

Brilliant game. I think Carr is the Jordan Henderson of the NFL. Just stands there shouting numbers and doing that concentrate gesture, but its hollow noise. He's a gurning vacuum
He's fine, I mean whisper it but he was every bit as good as Mahomes tonight and Adams screwed him by not working harder to get his feet in on what otherwise might have been the game winning play. He's just not good enough to carry a team the same as guys like Cousins and Jimmy G aren't.

We’ve done alright in regular season games at Arrowhead. Even if you blew the Raiders out, the Bills camp would still be fairly confident of going there for the win. However, going there in the playoffs is this generation’s Super Bowl curse. I think the day we win in the playoffs over there will be the season in which the Bills finally do it. Massive, massive mental block in late winter at that place for some reason.

Back to next week, we always have issues with Kelce, if he turns it on again like last night, our D will be in for a rough game. We need at least Poyer back for this one.

It's just an extremely hostile environment, clearly the most intense stadium in the league. So even if the Chiefs arent playing well, the crowd so often just drag the Chiefs home. Obviously Mahomes/Reid are part of that as well, but the number of double digit comebacks we have had over the years at home make it clear the crowd have a huge part to play in intimidating the oppostion.

I think yesterday the Chiefs expected to just have to go through the motions against the Raiders which is why it was so close, and definitely overlooked the Colts who are the only loss on the season.

We took Tampa Bay seriously and blew them away. There is 0 chance of us being casual in approach aginst the Bills, so that works in our favour as well.

All in all though, I just think the Bills if they are focussed, will have too much for us.

It's basically a third down contest. Neither team hits a ton of big plays against smart defenses so whoever wins third down will win the game unless someone screws up and blows coverages or something. I favor the Chiefs because they've shown some ability to run when needed.

You’re probably right about the run game being a deciding factor. However, Singletary is showing a bit more consistency now and whilst James Cook is good, he’s still a rookie and as @Kev The Rat says, Arrowhead may be a little daunting for him at the moment.

Some comments about Josh Allen vs Mahomes. I do agree that if it gets close on Sunday then I favour Mahomes. My fear is it could get towards blowout territory for Buffalo though.

I think Chiefs win tbh. I've started to go off the Bills a little, I'm not convinced they are over the hump with regards to close games just because of the win against Baltimore. As soon as the game starts looking competitive, you can see their collective mentality become jelly. The Chiefs are a much steelier bunch
