NFL 2022 Season

I can't really explain my Jaguars, except that we have professionals in charge for a change. Trevor Lawrence seems to be rather good in a west coast style offense. Our receivers are actually catching the ball, even in the end zone. After you throw effectively, a run game seems to open up. Imagine that.

It will take a few weeks to get used to this, but I promise that I will be insufferable when I begin to find some confidence. Last West Coast win was in 2017, and this is the first road win after 18 losses.

Took my kid to see the local team play yours years back. 8th row, 40 yard line. They were practically giving tickets away, and I picked that game because it was the only sure win on the schedule. Was disappointed when you didn't go 0-16.

I was pretty focused watching the Packers but the Jaguars and Lawrence looked like really good.

Was it that the Jags were excellent or Herbert was hurt and the Chargers defence was terrible?

Yeah, you won two that season IIRC. Was sad. Still drafted first (looked this up and it appears it was second because the Chiefs were equally rubbish). Punted it, because Jags that.
Ah, Joeckel. We got five whole games out of him before his leg blew up. Really nice fellow. Gus stayed positive through it all.

Gus was great, except for the losing part. It would have been nice if that had worked. There have been worse times, like last year.

Can't imagine there'll be a lower point than last year
