I actually think that's a reasonable comparison.
Kelce is the best TE to play the game, when looking at the receiving part of being a TE. You can't really pull him up on his blocking because Reid's scheme never uses him as a blocker - he is essentially a WR, and even lines up out wide on a regular basis. His impact in the passing game is ridiculous - better than many true WRs.
Twitter going nuts with dozens of pundits, ex-players and even current players attacking the defensive holding call as BS, and questioning why Bolton or Pacheco didn't win MVP.

At an absolute minimum the NFL has to stop letting officials have day jobs. Yes, these referees are still lawyers, corporate directors, salespeople, and all other kinds of career jobs Monday through Friday, and then they show up and referee the Super Bowl. Absolutely scandalous.
Such a shame that a game-winning coaching performance is going to be overshadowed by this. Reid switched to a running game to neutralise the Eagles D, Pacheco and the OL win the game as a result.
But all that will be remembered is a horrible phantom reffing call, putting an undeserved asterisk next to this Chiefs victory. Massively unfair to the Chiefs as well as the Eagles.

Hmmm. Fun question. Doesn’t really translate the same but I’d probably compare a tight end most to the box to box midfielder. Meant to do a bit of everything and the really good ones are able to score at least somewhat consistently.
Running back would just be Adama Traore. He’s in the wrong sport.
