Disappointed about being blown out by the Eagles for a 3rd time this season but still plenty of positives to take from the year, to go from 5 consecutive losing seasons to making the playoffs was a miracle, anything after that would have been a bonus

Eagles absolutely pummelled the giants. hoping the 49ers win tonight, a conference championship game against the eagles would be epic.

I give him credit for surviving a total #@$% hand he had his rookie year. 4100 yards w/ 25TD and 8INTs is quite good.

His supporting cast, I'm not too keen on. Etienne is decent. They wasted big $$$ on average like Kirk.

Still, they managed to overachieve under Doug, who showed what a good man manager/playcaller could do with an average squad in a bad division. Plus, we have a huge amount of regression to the mean working for us. They got better every week. Next year? *shrug*

And then Kelce was the only real threat and had over half the Chiefs receptions. I'd be livid as a Jags fan. A very winnable game and they never went after it like it was.

That's the way the Chiefs are structured though. You HAVE to stop Kelce, which involves double-teaming him every single play. If you take Kelce out of the equation then they still have a strong OL and a decent pair of RBs, but the receiving corps is not all that scary.

Problem is that stopping Kelce is a personnel headache - he's too big for most corners and too fast for most LBs, and schematically it's a huge risk to assign both Safeties onto a single TE.
