That was a bad call, no question about it. But also another bad throw. Mayfield lost that game. He had an offensive line who bullied the packers D throughout but managed to throw 4 picks.

Absolutely brutal play calling.
And bad all game, they'd have won easy if they had just kept running it

Absolutely.

Only way Green Bay had a chance was with Mayfield throwing. I was very happy to see them giving it to him.

But it was definitely a lucky call. Its 50 50 way I see. Wrong call on field but another bad throw.

I really don't want to see Packers play the 49ers again in the play offs with that run defence.

I would also say that there was a bizarre decision on that Green bay challenge as well where it was obviously a catch. And that led to a field goal rather than a possible 7. It was an obvious catch.

It wasn't just all decisions for the packers but they did get the big one.

Browns definitely had the blueprint to beat them, a good run game and good defence. 49ers and bucs (though fournette out is massive blow) be tough match ups in the play offs.

Apparently it was the second most throws Mayfield attempted all season.

That play calling was part of why they lost. If Chubb had carried another half dozen times they would have won.

Massive loss for the NFL world with John Madden's passing. An icon in the league for over 50 years and maybe the most impactful single person for the NFL in that time. I'm more from the generation that remembers him for headlining the video games though I can remember him calling a few games when I was younger too. There was something special to that even when he was getting toward the end. A one of a kind legacy.

Madden could have legitimately made the Hall of Fame for three different reasons. As much as the Sabols grew the game with NFL Films in the 60s and 70s, Madden grew the game just as much for my generation in the 80s and 90s. A true legend and a wonderful life.
