NFL 2021

Disastrous injury luck for the Bucs tonight. Like having to burn all your subs and finishing the match with 9 after more players go off hurt. Of course the Saints fans think they achieved something.

I feel like the injuries have hindered them obviously but yeah it’s not looking great
Injuries have been an absolute killer. If I'm correct I think I read somewhere we have the worst single season injury record in the history of the NFL. Had we just kept Henry and AJ Brown fit we'd have probably got number 1 seed in the AFC pretty easily.

Henry might be back in a couple of weeks and that would be huge for us.

EDIT: This is what I was talking about in terms of most injuries in a season. This article is from a month ago and it's only got worse since then.

After another crap show from the Giants last night, think it’s overdue having a management clear out in the off season and starting afresh. Since making the playoffs in 2016 our season records have been

2017 - 3 and 13
2018 - 5 and 11
2019 - 4 and 12
2020 - 6 and 10
2021 - 4 and 10 (with 2 games left)

February will be 11 years since we won the Superbowl and it’s just so depressing having seasons end by the half way point

Agreed, totally depressing being a Giants and Everton fan at the moment. It's clear they need a complete overhaul and you'd think with all the early draft picks that would have been easier than it has turned out to be.

Just like with football I'm forced to live in the past, but this turned up at the weekend, so I'm still a little bit happy with them...

Cardinals look a busted flush now too. Haven't been right in the last few weeks and I fully expect them to be blown out by Dallas and the Colts

Yeah they seemed to struggle badly yesterday. My brother is a lions fan and he thought they were really bad. They would need to win 2 more than Packers over the last 3 so I don't think they can get the bye now.

I was very shocked by that 9 nil score from Tampa when I woke up this morning. Haven't seen any of yet but it looks like Tampa got decimated by injuries, so it's not just that they lost. They will need to hope the injuries aren't serious too.

It's the business end of the season. It just goes to show that you can never really make any prediction about the NFL in the early half, because more often than not it gets turned on its head.

My favourite player is Deandre Hopkins, so I've been following the Cardinals closely. They've gone from a team who smashed a full strength Rams on the road to a team who got wrecked by a half strength Jalen Ramsey-less Rams at home. It's hard to explain that. When you look at all the other teams, it's hard to look past the Packers for the SB. After their crap first week, they have just looked consistent and unstoppable with even a half strength side and show no signs of slowing

I think the home advantage should be more important this year with crowds back, but I still do think Tampa and Brady have the edge over the Packers if they play each other. The Packers offence and Rodgers have got it going over the last few weeks but the defence has shown a few weaknesses. Yesterday they really struggled badly against Andrews and couldn't contain Huntley on the ground. They got a bit lucky to be honest, and Harbaugh made a couple of strange calls to go for it I thought. But equally they are finding ways to win and that's what matters.

Cardinals will still be a threat in the play offs if they can win the division and get a home wildcard. Murray on his day is still a match winner. It's just that he doesn't quite have the consistency yet and can throw in a really bad one like yesterday. There are more good teams on the NFC side this year, so it's hard to call right now. I fancy the Chiefs to win the AFC.

First time I’ve ever had an email off Packers offering cluster of tickets sat together.
Can’t go, obviously, but what an opportunity that is.

Crap bears team now decimated by Covid and injury, no starters available in the secondary, jefferson is gonna have about 200 odd yards in this game
