To be fair, I don't think Geno is winning any game. The weather wasn't great, and it was an aid to the defense. You gave up less than 2 TDs.
There is no Geno Smith game plan. You criticize him for his game plan but on the whole of the situation what else really is there for him to do?
They had to try to run the ball, geno has almost a decade of evidence showing he's not gonna do anything if you open up the play book. Let alone in the middle of a storm.

If you're too scared to give him any chance then you have to have a different backup QB. I don't think Geno is up to it but I think you have to try and run some really play action and throw a bit on early downs and just see what happens. If you can't trust the guy you have than find someone else. Bring in some young dude and hope to get lucky if the veterans are too bad. I can't stand playing straight up loserball though.
Play action is critical I agree. Even if your running game is non existant the advanced metrics suggest that the defense still hesitates for a split second.
I have a hard time faulting teams for their back up QBs. I honestly think Geno Smith is one of the better back ups and he's still really bad.
I think you're almost better off keeping a young guy who's hungry, unknown, and too stupid/young/naive to know better because honestly those kids can raise to the occasion more often than the backups who have a ton of film on them, and limitations are known by all.
Geno is defeated at this point. I honestly am surprised he's still playing. Lol EJ Manuel was a better QB than him from the same draft class and had called it quits a bit ago.
Well Joe Burrow is a pocket passer and that's not what Urban Meier does at all.
The best QB he has produced is Alex Smith.

I agree so it is beyond comical to see the Jets trading for Flacco. What is that lol
I don't understand why he was in Denver last year either lol.
And I actually thought Flacco was decent back in the day. I know some never believed, but you don't have like the first 6 or 8 whatever it was years of his career and you're just awful.
He played within himself those years. That's a really undervalued skill across all sports, but especially in football given how more important turnovers are in that sport than real football, basketball, or hockey.

Trade a 6th round, for a QB you had on your Roster 6 months ago.
The logic of the Jets is, and for most of my life, has been staggering.
Rookie QB has... inexperienced QB as his support, when they've had a seasoned vet on the team, but let him go, and the Rookie struggles, because we "didn't need him", only to waste draft capital on the same player anyway. Jets and Comedy are a great duo.
Jets should just clear house and start over again. This already has the makings of another wasted 3-4 yrs.
I mean as a Buffalo fan it's fine with me, but honestly we've all been so bad outside of the Pats I don't even hold any contempt for the Dolphins or Jets.
Which is crazy cuz when I was a kid that was the rivalry for us, Miami. We're the small rust belt city, gritty, bad weather. They were the growing market, beautiful palm trees, beaches. Marino vs Kelly. Brian Cox flipped off the Bills crowd after a game in Buffalo that the dolphins lost. I really hated that team and everything they represented to me.
It was a really fun rivalry, but now it's nothing.

Not the best game for the Packers to have players out with covid. Rodgers will have to find someone else to throw it to.

Need up early for work so not going to stay up for it. Think its going to be very tough for Green Bay down the best 3 receivers. Going to need to run the ball a lot and keep Murray off the field.
Just disappointing no Watt or Adams etc. You want the best playing against the best
