He truly is reaching Messi level now, he has always been far more effective than Ronaldo.

Ronaldo is mainly a poacher against good teams and scores decent goals against weaker teams. Ronaldo's dribbling ability against reduced spaces is very poor in comparison to Neymar's. Ronaldo was more effective in those 3 years with United. His Real career has been about personal glory, little did he do for the team. 1 UCL and 1 La Liga in 6 years is very little compared to what Messi did with Barca and what Ronaldo himself did with United in just 3 years.
