Question:
Do we think that we would have started the process of looking at other candidates?
Or would we hold fire until Unsworth's 'interview' is over, widely seen to be until the international break?
I'm sure we must have been sounding people out (although this is EFC). Not face to face, but contact with connections, agents, testing the water ect. I think that kind of thing happens on a fairly regular basis anyway, not just when clubs are in crisis. Regardless of the money swimming round, the world of football is actually quite a small business.

I've started to come round to Sean Dyche getting it.

Allardyce seems to be too polarising.

Silva would be ideal but that isn't going to happen.

Only one thing is guaranteed and that is a lot of people will be miffed whoever gets the job.
Well its a conundrum alright.
Ideally what we should be looking g
For is a long term appointment.....looking to the future over the next 6/7/8 to 10 years.
Instead at the moment were looking at a serious risk of relegation and we are in a perilous situation.
Obviously at this time we have to make our position safe..that is the most important thing at this particular moment.
This is a tough decision and wont be to everyones liking once made.
