Good point that, regardless of his merits as a footballer, all the Everton players spoke very highly of Phil Neville as a captain.Think it'll be decided by factors we don't necessarily see on the pitch on match day.

But as for an on-pitch captain,is he really commanding or whatever you want to call it, his team? I haven't noticed, but that doesn't mean anything thoughColeman if he stays fit and on the pitch. But I'd like to see Keane being groomed for the captaincy as I think he the best bet for the long term successor at the club at the moment.
I agree, I cant see Keane being the guy. He's becoming a good defender for us, but he's not captain material, I dont think. But as for an on-pitch captain,is he really commanding or whatever you want to call it, his team? I haven't noticed, but that doesn't mean anything though
Valid point but I would think we have far more pressing areas to replace than him for next season. Though obviously depends on budget and who is available. Will Coleman be playing enough?
ProbablyIt’ll just be exactly the same as last season.
Eidur Gudjohnsen?I want someone who can hurl abuse and swear at the ref in Icelandic.......
