Got to be looking at maximum home points (Villa, Palace, Leicester, Stoke - although those middle two should be tricky) plus at least four from those away games.

Would be extremely disappointed with less than 16 points from those eight, and would hope, with Baines and Cleverley back fit and Kone and Lukaku and Deulofeu on form, that we can get many more.

18+ would be an excellent return, and leave us on 34 with half of the season played.

Going into the new year we have some tricky fixtures... an on-paper solid January and easier February, hopefully they cancel each other out with a not bad run of form there.

I reckon West Ham will be away. Villa is home: put your house on it. Then I foresee a tricky away trip to Bournemouth followed by a home fixture: Palace. I can't see Norwich being anything more than an away fixture. It always is when it isn't at Goodison. I see us very much having home advantage against Leicester (whether or not that will actually contribute to the result I don't know). Newcastle is a nailed on "away." And that leaves Stoke. One word: Goodison.

All bases covered eh.

No mate I've left losing them all and winning them all wide open for a vaulting.

If I'm serious for a second, I think these sort of threads are silly. We have no idea who will be available in any of these games beyond the one that is in front of us.

3 points at West Ham would be a very good result. 1 point would be decent. Even then it's really hard to say that. Let's say we are up 3-0 and they fight back for a draw. I don't think anyone would be happy. Same goes if we came back from 3-0 down to pull out a draw...it would feel like a win.

Anyway. It's a silly topic and I will always give a silly answer.

West Ham (a) 0 - 2
Villa (h) 5 - 0 (Del's first hat-trick!)
Bournemouth (a) 0-1
Palace (h) 3-0
Norwich (a) 0-2
Leicester (h) 3-0
Newcastle (a) 0-4
Stoke (h) 2-1

What an awesome set of results; 3x8=24 points! Lukaku and Kone battling it out among themselves to be top scorers, and an unemployed Jose Mourinho looks on in anguish as John Stones sets a commanding example in defence.
Calls are made for Barkley, Stones and Galloway to be made permanent fixtures for the England team and the Queen summons Roberto Martinez to the Palace to knight him.
