7 points for me.. beat Watford , draw palace , lose saints, beat westham ... not sure about Huddersfield ... depends if we can score in the next few games and get confidence.... our players on paper are better than 4 of those teams IMO ... but we are terrible on the pitch at the moment

That's the worst thing I've ever heard. It's bad enough our bunch of losers heading there and getting battered cos they've got no bottle but you're saying we should just hand 'em the win and not even try?

I'm going to pretend this wasn't suggested by one of us, because I think we're better than that.

Palace is a massive game ... come to think about it ... all them teams bar saints could be considered relegation candidates at the end of the season... palace for me is the big game... lose that after not beating Watford and we are in all kinds of trouble... follow that up with not beating westham at home and losing to Huddersfield .... we will be in dire straights

This weekend is a big weekend with who we are vsing coupled with the other fixtures.
A win, results our way, puts us out of the bottom three.
The mental pressure should hopefully lessen.

I'm not predicting anything, but I'll tell you what. We've been in a position every week where we could fly up the table if we win, but week
by week the number of places we could jump is getting fewer and fewer. Pretty soon, if we don't start winning we'll find it hard to get above the two or three above us and then we'll be in a definite relegation fight. Fight could the operative word, because we're not showing much.

Watford have probably exceeded their own expectation, so far, but that loss at home against Stoke will have knocked the wind out of their
sails and this is our chance to get a win and some momentum. It's overworked, but this really might be a must win match.

One of the other problems we find is that in so many games this season, we've conceded the first goal. I think it psychologically impacts on the players and fans as everyone knows how poor our goal threat is. For us to come back and score 2 without conceding again seems a monumental task which is why a couple of 0-0s away, even if they are boring would be positive results.

Was listening to 'Big Sam' where he said you need to sort out one problem and the other will sort itself out. Not sure I fully agree with that as our goal threat will still be poor but I can see his point. We tighten up at the back first and learn how to defend again and we still have some quality to nick a goal and grind out 1-0 wins. We have 4 very good free kick takers in Baines, Sigurdsson, Mirallas and Rooney. If the defence can do their job properly then hopefully someone can step up with a goal direct from a set piece if we're struggling to score from open play.

I'd love a few 1-0 hard fought wins too.

Not one for pulling this card, but we have hsd some absolute shocking decisions go against us in the last month.
The penalty shouts against Brighton and Leicester are two off the top of my head.

Normally we would be looking at that and seeing 15 points there for the taking, but not being unhappy with 10/11.

As it stands, I would be very happy with a couple of wins and no demoralising defeats.
