Ipswich Town are in talks to sign Atalanta defender Ben Godfrey on loan.

I am pretty confident we got £10m or so in for him. I was pretty disappointed to see him leave, as I would've liked to have kept him.

Do we? We've got never-ever in position unless on the line Mykolenko to remind us of the halcyon days of Godders. Godfrey looked ok and pretty quick for about 6 months or so and then dropped off a cliff in form. For a time he was the next big hopeful.
