Still speaks very passionately about the club. Also heard his say he recommended a couple of MLS players to Everton but they failed to get back to him. I know one was the Bayern left back Davies but the other , whose name escapes me was definitely quality as well .One of the people I feel should be invited back in some capacity.
Farmers' league! Maybe we would be more successful if we played there.

Flopped is pretty harsh for how he did he! Could have been a great move if Carlo hadn't left and Rafael arrived."He needs a team built for him and, while Colombia can do that, club sides can’t."
I reckon it's possible at club level, but it'd take 10 made to measure players to do it, and a couple more on the bench to revolve in and out around him, as well as his understudy at 60 minutes each game.
It's always the wonder, is his talent what has worked against him, the innate ability that has carried him is what's been relied upon and so fitness and the hard work have been secondary? I view him as a much more capable Beckham, but not quite so hard working. It's all about the delivery and for James the speed of thought to cut a side open in one hit (as well as the means to execute in the same millisecond). We like the enigma players, the ones that instill that sharp intake of breath with anticipation... what now?!
What could have been.
