….funny when you post an opinion that’s contrary to others, it’s an ‘agenda’. I didn’t rate Thelwell from his first summer when we started and finished the season with Gordon as our central striker. I thought it was neglect of any DOF to have us in that position.

I actually wanted him to be very good, so my objectivity was never as fixed as you suggest. I remember posting that the acquisition of Chermiti would be a good indicator of Thelwell’s worth, a young unknown striker coming to an impotent Everton could be exactly what we needed.

Rangers is ideal for Thelwell to show how good he is.
