Probably be able to pull some better players in you’d have thought and would be hard pushed not to significantly improve at least

I really liked Davide Ancelotti, and there was a moment I kind of thought I might have taken a punt on him here. I honestly think he could have done more than Lampard and potentially Benitez.

It's a huge risk though. Like being the number 2, to being the top man is completely different.

It’s definitely a huge difference and I’ve said before the thing with back room staff is unless you’re actually there being coached by them it’s absolutely impossible to know how good they are. A lot of positive stuff we hear about them as fans will be filtered from the club and/or their agent in a bid to big them up and prime them for a managers job if that’s their aim.

I was always impressed with his set play routines, which apparently he was in charge of.
