….quite possibly but I recall our players trying to persuade him to stay on at times last season and quotes that he was asking to come off at half-time in games because of tiredness.

He was very highly rated by Lampard and his staff when he was here but wouldn’t sign a contract and left for first team minutes, given the absolute dross in front of him I couldn’t blame him. No idea how he’s done but he’s played over 60 games for Standard Liege who are part of the 777 mess. Hope he does well

I get the frustration with injuries, but blaming players for getting injured is always a bit laughable to me, usually it's a convenient accusation to back up an established opinion.
To be fair Silva didn't handle him that well either, the lads hit his straps and is fulfilling that undeniable potential, it's great to see though we'd also love it to have been here.
