People were advocating a pay as you play contract, which would`ve made sense,but one which he`d never have taken.

If he played 90 mins in every league game (no laughing) that would have worked out at nearly 68 grand a week for the year. More with cup games.

Like you say, no chance he takes that deal even though it's probably more in theory than he gets in Italy.
