The problem is we keep losing the ball so we don't have enough consistency to put good passes together that leads to a goal ..we did for our goal but then forgot to keep doing this throughout the game!

I don't see that the fault lies solely with tactics and the boss. He didn't make McGeady play like he was asleep and didn't make Ross have a horror show when he replaced him.

I just hope they get a break soon and somehow find some points and confidence.

it ain't pretty but again the manager can't legislate for bad ref decisions and woeful individual errors. maybe the generall play and the form/confidence of the players might improve if we can go two games without handing goals to the opposition. we don't get a chance to get some belief when they do that to themselves.

However most won't analyse a thing and will just shout loudly about sacking the boss.

You serious? Thing is pal, when you do start to analyse it all you can come to only one conclusion -- RM must go.

Yes, it is to a point. Martinez wants us to play from the back, constantly. The players are drilled to play from the back regardless of the amount of opponents around.

This issue has been the issue all season, which i've said, opponents are now pressing us so high and forcing us into mistakes. Martinez cannot, or will not, change this, until he does we will always be forced into errors.

Martinez playing players out of position isn't helping though. Why play Baines in midfield and play garbutt? Both left backs have played that game and besic is Sat on the bench. The mistakes are a reflection of his management style, the confidence and cohesion is gone. Barry cannot be anywhere near our starting 11 for hull. I don't care if we play osman in midfield, Barry can't be in the side.

Whatever team he goes with the fact is nobody is playing well in their position, nobody looks confident and more worryingly, nobody knows what themselves or the players around them are doing.That's the managers job.

Baines in midfield after the run of form we are on is a pisstake. You do that sort of thing in cup games or when you have nothing to play for, not when you desperately need points on the board.

I really like the lad Martinez, i do. He has confidence and class. But results matter. You dont get a breather for a second in the Premier League to have a throwaway season. Maybe it was too much too soon, but when everyone is commenting at how boring Everton look this season, how they are sitting back, how they are wasteful in possession, how if you press them they make a usually costly mistake, well then it either needs to get sorted by the middle/end of January or someone else has to come in to sort it.

don't think eto`o was that bad. Maybe not the right guy in this moment however.

He was pathetic so bad was Eto- a clear chance to make it 2-2 and his passing is so negative if he finds a blue shirt, also pushing Ross Barkley on the wing!!
