Mourinho lived in the Lowry Hotel all the time he was at Man U and kept his family in London.

They`d have to build him a fortified palace to get him up there.

No way Mourinho is setting foot anywhere in Newcastle, except the ground / training ground !!!!!

It`s not exactly renowned for it`s sophisticated and classy vibe up there.

Visited the city fairly recently. Has been going downhill for years.

I always wonder when people talk about the extra investment in the city that these kind of owners or premier league football are supposed to bring, how much of that investment filters down to your regular person

I’d be surprised if they did this. Goes against what they’ve done so far. Think their recruitment has by and large been pretty sensible. Think it’s lazy journalism or Mourinho whoring himself about for a bigger payday.

If they want that swashbuckling style football then they are better off with one of the German coaches where it's more direct, one touch type stuff at high pace which is what they seem to like.
