Unpopular opinion: Newcastle aren’t actually THAT terrible a side and are safe as houses this season.

They’ve always got a bad performance in them ala Norwich and today. But they were incredible defensively against Spurs and can be resilient when they need to. Their biggest problem is scoring goals.

They’ve had an awful run of fixtures (Arsenal at home & Spurs, Liverpool and Leicester away in their 1st 7 games) and gave good accounts of themselves against Arsenal and Liverpool, even if they got beat.

They definitely need a bit more going forward but I don’t think they’ll go down.
