They lucked out last season as it was a terrible league and Tottenham, Chelsea, United and Liverpool all under performed along with teams like Villa and West Ham. Took good advantage of it like, which we never did.

They weren’t expecting to get top 4 in the first place and it may prove to be a bit of a curse as they’re expecting it every season now. They didn’t improve as much as was actually needed in the summer because of this.

They’ve been given a tough start but Howe will be out soon enough.

Howe not managed Europe and domestic. Horse punchers will turn on him as not being good enough.

Sack by December. Insert "pedigree" manager.

Left side of Gordon, Burn, and Joelinton has had its time in the sun...£100mill+ spent in January.

Burn playing CB atm as Botman out. They look better with Botman in the middle and Burn out left.

They are trying to shoehorn Gordon in to any position at the moment due to his cost and saving face but he looks poor.

Both Barnes and Isak look much better out left and Joelinton playing centrally.

But; Howe keeps shifting them positions so much so it isnt settled at all.

Joelinton isn't a CM and Burn isn't a left back is what I'm trying to say. A big name manager will see that an fix it if they do want to challenge.

Howes got away with that because theyre athletic units that will do the job against a chunk of the league...but at the top tier? No.
