Newcastle Utd (and Viz)

It's how many goals and assists he gets in the games in the next couple of seasons that will decide if it's a price worth paying, not last season.

Only time will tell.

Well of course. But he will need to up his numbers quite a bit, in a harder league, playing for a (relatively) worse/smaller team to get anywhere near justifying that fee.

Like 60m is too much for a lad getting 9 goals. Hopefully for you guys it gets better.

@St James

Mike Ashley ran Newcastle very well and Rafael Benitez is a fat pig who relegated you. Discuss.
I've drawn a line under the Ashley era, it's about now and where the club is heading in the future that I care about. We have way bigger fish to fry than bleating on about Ashley, it's about moving forward now, not looking back. The future is bright for Newcastle United!

Thanks to Mike Ashley leaving you with a FFP free hit for a couple of years. You can run from your past but it will always catch up to you in the end. Accept him as your saviour and denounce your fans as clueless horrendous and entitled fat biffs for trying to chase him out.

Looked sharp so far, great goal at Anfield but missed an absolute sitter that cost you a couple of points against Palace.

Top prospect, be interesting to see how much of his potential he fulfils under a manager like Howe!

Gonna be interesting how you try to get around the leagues P&S rules though, ultimately like we where you'll be massively restricted at some point purely on the fact your income is utterly miniscule in comparison to the top 5/6, you look like your putting a team together than can be comfortable around 7-10th but without continuoes European (CL really) qualification, then not sure what it matters how rich your owners are when you can't spend it and nobody is gonna let you do a host of insanely over market price sponsorships.

You're basically spending up to P&S limits on transfers and on wages this and last season, you may have one more in you that you do spend again around the 100m mark maximum, after that if you haven't cracked top 4 (you'll be nowhere close imo) then not sure exactly how bright it'll be when you stagnate limited by revenue being ultimately that of the other also rans.

The owners have presidents and prime ministers grovelling up to them and begging them to release more oil in to the market to help them ease inflation in their economies, do you think a tin pot organisation like the PL or FIFA are going to be able to stop them doing what they want when they decide they want to do it. The answer is no.

Think you've let the Newky brown go to your head a bit there mate, you do know you don't actually have the countries wealth entirely st your disposal do you, you're just a sports washing exercise in reality.

Absolutely love the sense of entitlement you have developed in 6 months though. Apparently the leagues rules will bow down to your head chopping owners though.

You'll be advocating for a super league including Newcastle soon ????

Invite the PL and FIFA to the Turkish embassy why don't you?

And the weirdos will genuinely believe they belong there based on finishing second once in the 90’s.
