They can be as 'supportive' as they want with their messages, when in reality most of the players will know that they'll be jettisoned sooner rather than later.

They said on TalkSport how Trippier tried to get the players to come out of the dressing room to see the fans and congratulate the Cambridge players.

Guess what, they wouldn't. They know that, each and every one of them, will be in line to be replaced, so will they be feeling loyal and inspired?
