I get that, but the other way you'd want the players coming into their first training with a bit of a zip to them - "Look, we're here to impress to you boss."

If they get tore a new one today by Brighton, he'll walk into training with a different attitude and with Norwich's results will start his actual tenure in 20th.

Personally, I have no animosity towards Howe, but I hope it all goes tits up simply because he managers that lot.
